Zenegy breaks with the classic payslip
The purpose of the payslip
The purpose of the payslip is to act as a sort of receipt that wage has been paid and that the employer has deducted ATP, AM contribution and A-tax from the employee's salary. A wage earner has the right to receive a payslip. It is a demand on the employer to save all payslips for 5 years and to make sure that no one else has access to them. This, in order to document and prove that the wage has been paid and that tax has been paid.
What are the demands on payslips?
There are no specific formal requirements besides it being written. Therefore, it is allowed for it to be digital or handwritten as long as it is readable. There are not many demands on the content of a payslip, but it should at least contain information on:
The employee's salary during the period
The specific pay period
The amount deducted from the salary in terms of A-tax and AM contribution
Employee's name, address and personal identification number
Employer's name, address and CVR number
Most payslips contain much more information than the above. Such as additions, taxable goods, gross income, deductions, holiday pay, repayments of outlays, actual disburse of salary, and much more.
The classic payslip is a thing of the past
At Zenegy, wage earners receive their payslip in an entirely new way. Our opinion is that pay shouldn't simply be fun to spend, but equally fun to receive. That's why we've taken the classic payslip and turned it into a new, interactive payslip. When using our employee app, employees have the opportunity to click on specific elements on the payslip and see their development during the year as well as gather information on what the different elements entail.
With our interactive design, wage earners can easily get an overview of the content of the payslip. This also means that if the payslip is faulty, these flaws are more easily discovered.
In Zenegy, you can also receive the payslip as a classic pdf, either by e-mail or in e-Boks.
