Total Compensation shows what the whole employment is worth

For most people, the amount in their account is what matters most, but pay is more than net pay. The payslip can now show Total Compensation, so employees see the value of their whole employment — pension, holiday pay, free choice and the other employer-paid contributions — directly on the payslip.

    • Hourly paid employees are shown their Total Compensation per hour, calculated as the total compensation divided by the working hours registered in the period.
    • The company chooses whether Total Compensation is shown. The feature is switched on and off under My company → Salary and bank → Company payroll profile.
    • The feature was developed in collaboration with Dansk Industri to create greater transparency about employees' total compensation.

    What Total Compensation includes

    • Fixed salary, monthly or hourly pay
    • Supplements and overtime
    • Company-paid pension
    • Bonus and commission
    • Employer-paid ATP
    • Free choice, SH savings and holiday allowance
    • Holiday pay
    • Pay during sickness and parental leave

    What it doesn't include

    • Employee benefits
    • Insurance
    • Severance payments
    • Gross salary deductions

    Improvements

    • Holiday allowance on transferred holiday days is now paid out correctly. Previously, the allowance could be missing when transferred holiday days were taken after 31 August; it is now calculated and paid out throughout the period up to 31 December, during which the days can be taken.

    Bug fixes

    • An incorrect rate for DA/LO has been corrected.
    • Extra hours off are now shown correctly under Registrations when the supplement is created for payout.
    • Changes to an employee's free choice no longer affect the cost centre and posting group.
    • File imports now handle data in the Cost centre column correctly.
    • An error when creating AM pension via date-managed values has been fixed.

Invoice templates, supplier balance and comments in Sales

Two releases at once, 141 and 142. They are all about the same thing: giving an overview where the work happens — when an invoice has to be paid, when a customer needs a payment reminder, and when the same invoice has to be written again.

    What's new

    • Supplier balance under unpaid invoices. When you are about to pay an invoice, you can now see whether the payment settles the amount owed to the supplier.
    • Bank details appear on the invoice layout automatically when a bank connection has been set up. New customers no longer have to add the bank to the layout themselves.
    • Comments on "awaiting payment" and "overdue" in Sales. A new column in the overview lets you write what the status is, so you don't have to ask a colleague before you send the customer a payment reminder.
    • Invoice templates. A template can be linked to a customer and used automatically the next time an invoice is created for that customer. The feature is switched on under Sales settings.

Faster pay runs, and holiday pay files that don't get stuck

Releases 257 and 258 make the pay run faster for the largest companies, remove the validations that could stop a holiday pay file, and fix a number of bugs along the way.

    Improvements

    • Holiday pay files for companies with another holiday scheme now correctly create employees who have left, even when they aren't already in the system. A number of unnecessary validations are gone, so the pay run no longer stops on missing mandatory fields.
    • The calculations in the pay run have been optimised. Companies with more than 500 employees notice it as shorter waiting times and better navigation, especially in the busiest periods.
    • DA Statistik now reports the right periods. Previously, some employees could be reported with periods outside the selected reporting period in the ESI file; employment dates are now handled correctly.

    Bug fixes

    • Employees who have left and have access roles now get the correct access to registrations.
    • The eIncome report no longer generates empty ZIP files for partly reversed pay runs.
    • The combined pay run report now shows the correct AM income, even when it contains reversed pay runs.
    • Company cars can once again be removed correctly from employees, even when date management is missing.
    • The Planday integration now updates settings correctly and makes it possible to choose a default department as expected.
    • The system no longer freezes when pensions with negative fixed amounts are created directly in the pay run.
    • The API can no longer overwrite rates if the function isn't switched on for the hourly rate.
    • CPR numbers are now saved correctly when they are registered after the employee has been created.
