Umbraco switches to Zenegy – a whole new world has opened up for everyone
Slick design, user-friendliness, automated workflows and reporting sickness, holiday, mileage etc. directly in the Zenegy app – these are just some of the reasons why the Danish company Umbraco, the world's leading Microsoft-based CMS platform, has replaced its ordinary, standard payroll system with Zenegy.
“We switched from one of the many perfectly ordinary, cumbersome payroll systems to Zenegy, and it has given us some completely new opportunities. Both in terms of automation, and so efficiency, on the administrative side, but certainly also in terms of the employees.”
So says Poul Jensen, who is CFO, or, as it's called at Umbraco, Friendly Cashier.
Saves manual typing
Because the employees can report directly in the app themselves, there's suddenly far more ownership of your own reports. The employees are also much more involved, as things are more or less democratised.
The registrations also save the bookkeeping team and the administration a lot of time, while the risk of errors is minimised.
“It has been easy and painless to switch from our old system to Zenegy. There's full integration with our accounting software, e-conomic, and among other things that has allowed us to add more automations. It means we don't have to spend so much time handling and typing in data manually.”
Poul Jensen also makes no secret of the fact that for a company like Umbraco, it naturally also matters that the people who use the system enjoy using it. He says:

“It's a slick design, and the whole interface is well thought out, so users get a positive experience. It gives much greater motivation in the daily work.”
